This Year’s Guest Speaker is Julie Olson.

In 1986, Julie Olson had a near-death experience that transformed her life. Memories of past lives began to surface, giving her muchneeded insights into the events of her present life. As a member of Eckankar for 36 years, Julie has made an in-depth study of her spiritual experiences, recording them in personal journals. She continues to look to dreams, intuition, and events in her life for keys to more spiritual awareness and love.

Julie credits the Spiritual Exercises of ECK (Divine Spirit) for helping her realize her spiritual purpose in life. These contemplation techniques and other spiritual tools have given her strength to face life’s challenges.
As the featured speaker, Julie has shared her spiritual adventures at ECK seminars in Africa, Singapore, Malaysia, Mexico, Canada, and throughout the United States.

Julie is an award-winning illustrator and artist. She is Eckankar’s representative in Iowa, where she lives with her husband Paul and their three dogs – Kojo, Bika, and Jabu.

 

ECKANKAR Booth and Presentation at Expo in Kirtland Area - September

You are warmly invited to stop by the Eckankar booth (#124) during the weekend of September 10-12, 2010 at the JOURNEY – A Mind, Body, & Soul Expo being held at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, Ohio, 44094.

Visit the booth, pick-up free information about Eckankar, participate in a small group discussion, and listen to people singing HU (pronounced hue), an ancient name for God that can open the heart to greaterlove and contentment.

During the expo, Eckankar will be offering a free presentation on “Transforming Your Life with HU, A Love Song to God” on Saturday, September 11, from 5:00-5:30 p.m.

Hours for the expo are:

Friday, September 10th, 3:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m,

Saturday, September 11th, 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Sunday, Septermber 12th, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

There is an admission charge for the expo.
